L'ASSOCIATION
Founded in 2007 by Eric du Faÿ, Petites Mains Symphoniques is an association that showcases young people aged 6 to 24, from all backgrounds, through orchestral and vocal practice.
Because the arts are essential to the development and well-being of our young people, the ambition of Petites Mains Symphoniques is to make the orchestra accessible to everyone, regardless of social background. The orchestra is an exemplary tool for learning to live in harmony, to engage in dialogue, to coexist and to surpass oneself through the joy of working together.
The success of this initiative is reflected in the large number of children who have joined the adventure since its creation. This pioneering project has brought together more than 500 children, with over 10,000 participations in its activities since it began.
Before performing in concert throughout the year in exceptional venues, the children take part in three academies organised by the association each year. These allow them to work on their repertoire, through sectional rehearsals and full orchestral rehearsals, guided by teachers and performing musicians who are active in today’s music world.

9th Petites Mains Symphoniques Festival in the Balagne region.
The closing concert will take place at the Calvi-Balagne Sports Complex on Friday, 23 October 2026, in a warm, friendly family atmosphere that promises to make this ninth edition a highlight of Corsica’s music season.
